Incidents that involve technical rescue of animals require special considerations and knowledge. This training is provided through both hands-on and classroom instruction. This ASAR class focuses on technical swiftwater rescue skills compliant with both NFPA 1670 Ch. 17 standards and NFPA 1006 standards. Instructors provide animal search and rescue training for animal control officers, humane responders, and first responders working in disaster or technical rescue situations.
