Behavioral Animal Motivators (BAM) – March 31st with Garret Leonard and AnimalDecon.com
March 31 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Handling livestock during stressful situations can be extremely difficult for responders as well as animals. Think in terms of safety first, safety for you, the animal and anyone else in the area. This training prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with hands-on training from experienced instructors focused on the animal response using the latest handling techniques. Livestock should always be approached in a calm, quite way and handled appropriately. Livestock have a great ability to sense fear, therefore handlers should be confident in their actions and always be aware of their ability. This class will build confidence in handlers and provide the necessary skills to handle livestock. In addition, you will learn front / rear assist and perform a downed animal rescue exercise. Cost for the training is $150 per person, and to see more information about the class please click here for the flyer ——->BAM March 31, 2021.
